Mute presents a colored vinyl reissue of Can's 1969 debut album Monster Movie. Recorded in a castle near Cologne by Holger Czukay, Irmin Schmidt, Michael Karoli, Jaki Liebezeit and American singer Malcolm Mooney, it's a foundational krautrock statement whose hypnotic, propulsive grooves — above all the 20-minute "Yoo Doo Right" — still echo through the bands that followed.
