Nathan Davis with Georges Arvanitas Trio - Live in Paris: The ORTF Recordings 1966/67 - Sam LP
$79.99
Vinyl LP Set — The ORTF Recordings 1966/67
Live recordings of the great American tenor saxophonist Nathan Davis with the Georges Arvanitas Trio, captured for French radio (ORTF) in Paris in 1966–67. A contemporary of giants like Harold Land, Jimmy Heath and Clifford Jordan, Davis was a fiercely original artist whose fluid phrasing and booming tone across tenor, soprano and flute are fuelled by tremendous drive and furious invention throughout these sessions.
