As is typical of a Kubrick score, it pairs previously existing tracks and classical pieces with four original compositions recorded especially for the film by Jocelyn Pook — unsettling, experimental centerpieces that perfectly complement the picture's disturbing and ominous visuals. The package is as dark and mysterious as the film itself, housed in a bespoke die-cut jacket printed by Stoughton Press with two beautifully printed inner sleeves.
