"Fear Not for Man" takes its inspiration from Kwame Nkrumah's motto, "the secret of life is to have no fear," with Fela declaring that men stand and fight rather than run away. Recorded around the time of the February 1977 attack on his Kalakuta compound, the heavy, defiant title track is paired with the instrumental "Palm Wine Sound."
