The UK trio — Roland Gift, Andy Cox and David Steele — balanced retro-soul numbers with Prince-influenced dance cuts, scoring No. 1 hits with "She Drives Me Crazy" and "Good Thing." A double-platinum smash and one of the most listenable albums of the 1980s.
