Evening Star is the second collaborative album between Robert Fripp and Brian Eno, originally released in 1975 as the follow-up to (No Pussyfooting). A landmark of early ambient and experimental music, it pairs Fripp's looping, treated guitar lines with Eno's tape and synthesizer textures, moving from serene opening pieces to the long, brooding soundscape of "An Index of Metals."
