Guaxe is a Brazilian psych duo formed spontaneously by Dino Almeida (Boogarins) and Pedro Bonifrate (Supercordas). After years of guesting on each other's records and sharing festival stages, the pair wrote and recorded this self-titled album at Bonifrate's home in coastal Paraty — using 4-track machines, computers, cranky gear and 10-string guitars, with children playing and a rainforest full of lizards all around the house.
