Ill Times is the debut collaborative album between Gum (aka Jay Watson, co-founder of Perth psych-pop outfit Pond and touring member of Tame Impala) and Ambrose Kenny-Smith, best known as the harmonica player, keyboardist and vocalist with King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard and The Murlocs. A 10-track exploration of groove, blues and soul, it's deeply hypnotic from start to finish.
