The debut studio album from Finnish gothic rockers HIM, originally released in November 1997. Recorded in just fifteen days during the summer of 1997 with producer Hiili Hiilesmaa — credited by vocalist Ville Valo as the honorary sixth member of the band for his role in shaping their sound. It remains the only HIM album to feature writing credits from guitarist Mikko "Linde" Lindström, keyboardist Antto Melasniemi and drummer Juhana "Pätkä" Rantala, and includes the band's signature take on Chris Isaak's "Wicked Game."
