Lust for Life (1977) is Iggy Pop's second solo album and his second 1977 collaboration with David Bowie, following The Idiot. Written, recorded, and mixed in just eight days at Hansa Studio in Berlin, it became Pop's most commercially successful album and remains his only Gold-certified release in the UK. Backed by a band featuring Ricky Gardiner and Carlos Alomar on guitars and Hunt and Tony Sales on rhythm, it delivers the anthemic title track, "The Passenger," and "Tonight."
