Jazz Is Dead continues its series honoring musical legends with JID024, spotlighting Brazilian piano pioneer Dom Salvador. The architect behind the groundbreaking 1971 album Som, Sangue e Raça, Salvador fused samba with jazz, funk, and soul to help shape Black Brazilian music. Here he reunites with that spirit alongside Adrian Younge and Ali Shaheed Muhammad, recording live and entirely in analog.
