Where American Recordings featured Cash alone with his acoustic guitar, Unchained finds the legend backed by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and Marty Stuart. The heartfelt 14-song set mixes Cash originals like "Country Boy" and "Mean Eyed Cat" with inspired covers of Beck, Soundgarden and Tom Petty, and took home the Grammy for Best Country Album. Cut from the original masters under Rubin's supervision and pressed on 180g virgin vinyl at QRP.
