Originally released as a five-song EP in 1996, Tremble Under Boom Lights found the influential New York City quintet Jonathan Fire*Eater at the height of their powers, blending sly, brooding rock and roll with springy Farfisa organ and Stewart Lupton's vivid, cinematic lyrics. This 2019 Third Man Records reissue expands the running order with bonus tracks, including the previously unreleased "In the Head" — the last song the band ever recorded.
