The Grammy-winning group returned to their recording roots in Los Angeles to work with producer Markus Dravs (Arcade Fire, Coldplay, Florence + the Machine), arriving three years after their Grammy-nominated Mechanical Bull. Lyrically the album draws on the band members' personal stories. Kings of Leon — brothers Caleb, Nathan and Jared Followill with cousin Matthew Followill — formed in Nashville in 2000.
