Lonnie Liston Smith was one of the most important musicians to emerge in 1970s jazz, his cosmically inspired, spiritual sound drawing on his time with Pharoah Sanders, Gato Barbieri and Miles Davis. Released in 1976, Reflections Of A Golden Dream was the follow-up to "Expansions" and the first of his albums to feature his own vocals, performed with the core Cosmic Echoes band including his brother Donald Smith. A lost classic, from the funky "Get Down Everybody (It's Time For World Peace)" to the sumptuous "Beautiful Woman."
