LUMP is the collaboration between Mercury Prize-winning producer Mike Lindsay (Tunng) and GRAMMY-nominated singer-songwriter Laura Marling. For their second album, Marling again entered the studio without having heard Lindsay's music, lending the lyrics an immediacy drawn from half-memories, family stories, dreams, and her studies in psychoanalysis. The result is a hypnotic, hedonistic record about desires running wild — finding the inner animal and following it into a parallel universe.
