Visions is a collaborative album from BADBADNOTGOOD co-founders Matthew Tavares and Leland Whitty, longtime writing partners and Grammy-winning, multi-platinum producers. Recorded in Toronto and produced by the duo, it was played in its entirety in one continuous studio session after a three-week writing period, with most tracks captured on the first take. The result is a sublime melting pot of modern jazz, impressionist classical, and Arthur Verocai-esque arrangements — a coherent body of work that draws the listener in with waves of intensity and crescendos that release back into tranquility.
