Mondo presents the premiere physical release of the soundtrack to the MSX2 version of the classic that started it all: Metal Gear. Beginning in 1987 in Japan, the series is considered one of the essential franchises to come out of the '80s; while not the first to implement stealth mechanics, Metal Gear popularized the genre and launched a decades-spanning series. This release is cut at 45RPM, features all-new artwork by Paul Mann paying tribute to the '80s action films that inspired the game, and is pressed on heavyweight "Camouflage" colored vinyl.
