Micky Dolenz travelled to Japan in early 1982 for his first-ever tour as a solo performer, near the peak of a massive Monkees resurgence that had taken hold there. Backed by a Japanese band called Marlboro, Dolenz dug into what he considered the cream of the Monkees catalogue, mixing the big hits with captivating deep cuts like 1969's "Pillow Time" (written by his mother Janelle Scott), the Michael Nesmith compositions "Sunny Girlfriend" and "You Just May Be The One," and what may be the first-ever concert performance of "Zor And Zam." This 2020 release brings the long-unheard performance to 180g splatter vinyl.
