Japanese reissue of Super Session from Mike Bloomfield, Al Kooper and Stephen Stills. To mark the album's 55th anniversary, the Quadraphonic (4-channel) mix that first appeared in 1972 has been revived as an SA-CD multichannel hybrid disc for the first time. The multichannel SA-CD layer uses the latest DSD remaster of high-resolution files taken from the original Quadraphonic master tapes, while the CD layer uses the SA-CD stereo hi-res master. Packaged in a 7-inch cardboard sleeve that faithfully replicates the Japanese Quadraphonic LP design.
