Originally released in 1967, Echoes of the Gospel was the first full-length album from Detroit gospel favorites The Morning Echoes, led by Willie "Slim" Ayers. Recorded for Nashville's Nashboro Records, it carries the label's unmistakable lightly-reverbed, crystal-clear sound. Third Man Records transferred this reissue directly from the original 1967 stereo mixes, remastered by Warren Defever.
