Backed by members of Rotary Connection, Electric Mud was controversial on release for fusing electric blues with psychedelic rock, and is now recognized as a forward-thinking classic, sampled by the likes of The Black Keys and Gorillaz. Pressed on black vinyl at Third Man Pressing in Detroit with a gatefold jacket in its original black-on-white color scheme.
