Oceanside Countryside is one of Neil Young's great "lost" albums, released as part of his Analog Original Series. Recorded from May to December 1977 — just before Comes A Time — it shares that record's country/folk sound. The "Oceanside" songs are performed solo by Young, while on "Countryside" he is joined by friends including Ben Keith, Rufus Thibodeaux, Karl T. Himmel, Joe Osborne, Tim Drummond and Levon Helm. These are the original mixes done at the time of recording, presented in the album's originally planned running order.
