This Note's For You is Neil Young's 1988 foray into rhythm and blues, recorded with a horn section as Neil Young & the Bluenotes. With a scrappy, bar-band energy, it spawned the hit title track, whose video parodied 1980s pop stars and commercial product placement and won the MTV Video Music Award for Best Video of the Year.
