Released in 1966 from unissued sessions recorded between 1963 and 1965, "Easy Living" captures alto saxophonist Paul Desmond and guitarist Jim Hall at their lyrical best, supported by Modern Jazz Quartet members Percy Heath and Connie Kay among others. Desmond's gorgeous tone and gift for melodic improvisation have rarely been heard to better advantage. This Speakers Corner edition was remastered using pure analogue components only, from the master tapes through to the cutting head.
