It's been a half century since Pavlov's Dog burst onto the early-1970s progressive rock scene out of St. Louis, Missouri, with a heady blend of rock, classical and folk that turned them into cult legends. Recorded in 1974 and produced by Murray Krugman and Sandy Pearlman (Blue Öyster Cult), their debut Pampered Menial is regarded as a milestone of the genre, opening with the band's signature ballad "Julia." This 50th-anniversary edition presents the album on gold vinyl.
