The Alan Parsons Project - I Robot - (MFSL UltraDisc One-Step 33rpm Vinyl 1LP Box Set)
MoFi UltraDisc One-Step, 180g 33RPM 1LP Box Set, Limited to 10,000 Numbered Copies
Engineered by Alan Parsons after he worked on Pink Floyd's The Dark Side of the Moon, 1977's I Robot is an audiophile touchstone of taut bass, crisp highs, and limitless dynamic range — a prog-rock landmark from Parsons and creative partner Eric Woolfson, loosely inspired by Isaac Asimov's stories of artificial intelligence. Mobile Fidelity's UltraDisc One-Step edition is mastered from the original master tapes (1/4" / 15 IPS analog to DSD 256) and pressed at RTI on MoFi SuperVinyl, putting all the music on a single LP with a nearly inaudible noise floor. Limited to 10,000 numbered copies and housed in an elegant foil-stamped slipcase.
