Alice Coltrane's The Carnegie Hall Concert is a previously unreleased recording of a historic 1971 performance, originally commissioned by Impulse but never released at the time. It features an all-star group including Pharoah Sanders, Archie Shepp, Jimmy Garrison, Cecil McBee, and Ed Blackwell, captured on a triple bill alongside Laura Nyro and The Rascals and produced by Sid Bernstein.
