Billy Squier's long-shelved 1993 Capitol album, back on 2LP black vinyl as an indie-exclusive Record Store Day Essential.
Tell the Truth was Billy Squier's eighth and final album for Capitol Records, produced by Mike Chapman (Sweet, Blondie) and slated for spring 1993 before the label pulled it despite strong early radio support for lead track "Angry." This deluxe reissue gave the album its first-ever vinyl release in 2026 and sold out on its first run; it returns here through the RSD Essentials program. The set comes in a heavy tip-on sleeve with full liner notes telling the album's story, plus bonus material, extended content and lyrics, and the audio was newly remastered by Chris Muth (Rolling Stones, AC/DC).
