Flutist Bobbi Humphrey was one of the most prominent stars on Blue Note's 1970s roster. Her great 1975 album Fancy Dancer was the third and final collaboration with producer Larry Mizell, whose vibrant arrangements with brother Fonce wove together a broad range of black-music influences. Humphrey's alluring flute dances through standout tracks including "Uno Esta," "You Make Me Feel So Good" and the expansive closer "Please Set Me At Ease," later remade by Madlib.
