Originally released in 2004, Peachtree Road is Elton John's 27th studio album and the only one in his vast catalog produced solely by him. Drawing on his love of R&B, country, and Americana, it is a rootsy record that continued the back-to-basics spirit of its predecessor, Songs From the West Coast. It also marked the return of legendary drummer Nigel Olsson and reunited Elton with guitarist Davey Johnstone.
