Recorded at Van Gelder Studio in November 1965 but unissued until 1981, Infinity catches trumpeter Lee Morgan leading a robust quintet to the far reaches of hard bop and beyond. Alto saxophonist Jackie McLean and drummer Billy Higgins join pianist Larry Willis and bassist Reggie Workman across four Morgan originals and McLean's ballad "Portrait of Doll." This stereo Tone Poet edition was produced by Joe Harley and mastered by Kevin Gray from the original analog tapes.
