Recorded with the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra under Leone Magiera, it captures Pavarotti at the height of his vocal powers across operatic arias from Cavalleria Rusticana, Il trovatore, Macbeth, Manon Lescaut, and La traviata, plus popular Neapolitan song. The set also includes two 1955 recordings thought to be the earliest featuring Pavarotti, and a special audio interview.
