Nine LPs of newly remastered Peter Murphy solo recordings, 2001 to 2017, in a rigid bookcase-style box with an extensive hardback book. UK import.
This deluxe nine-LP box set brings together key Peter Murphy solo recordings from 2001 to 2017, newly remastered and presented in definitive form. Spanning atmospheric studio masterpieces, intimate live performances and late-career creative peaks, the collection captures Murphy's singular artistic vision across more than fifteen years of work. Each album has been remastered, delivering enhanced clarity while remaining faithful to the original recordings. The records are housed in premium sleeves and presented in a deluxe rigid bookcase-style box.
At the heart of the set is an extensive hardback book featuring newly commissioned writing and rare archival material. Acclaimed author and broadcaster John Robb contributes an in-depth essay on Murphy's creative evolution, while ANOHNI provides a personal foreword. Long-time collaborator and producer Youth offers his own perspective on Murphy's musical journey. The book also includes a brand-new interview with Peter Murphy, alongside previously unpublished family photographs, rare studio and live images, and archival material drawn from throughout the period.
From the orchestral beauty of Dust and the introspective textures of Unshattered to the adventurous songwriting of Ninth, the powerful modern rock of Lion, the acclaimed live document Alive Just For Love and the stripped-back intimacy of Bare-Boned & Sacred, this collection charts an artist who has continually reinvented himself while remaining unmistakably unique.
