Originally released in 1992 on Island Records, Bone Machine is Tom Waits' 11th studio album and a GRAMMY winner for Best Alternative Music Album. Featuring David Hidalgo, Les Claypool, Brain and Keith Richards, it is among Waits' most poetically and sonically daring works. Writing again with his wife and collaborator Kathleen Brennan, Waits called the songs "little movies for the ears," often built from percussion patterns he played on an array of largely homemade instruments. Newly remastered for the first time from the original 1/2" flat master tape, personally overseen by Tom Waits and Kathleen Brennan.
