Songs for the Deaf is the third studio album by Queens of the Stone Age, originally released in 2002 and featuring the original red-and-black cover art. A loose concept album, it takes the listener on a drive through the California desert from Los Angeles to Joshua Tree, tuning into fictional radio stations along the way. The record features Dave Grohl on drums and was the last Queens album to feature Nick Oliveri on bass.
