A "new" Ryo Fukui release, and a real one: a breathtaking live date recorded June 26, 2004 at Slowboat, the Sapporo club he was tied to for decades. Fukui is joined by Benisuke Sakai on bass and Yoshihito Eto on drums, stretching out on Tadd Dameron, Charlie Parker, Ellington and Wayne Shorter with the mature ease of a player entirely at home.
