Valtari is Sigur Rós' sixth studio album, originally released in 2012. Described by the band as an avalanche in slow motion, it was co-produced with Alex Somers in Reykjavik, Iceland. The title means roller in English, with Jónsi noting it fits the album because it is big and slow and rolls over you slowly. Reissued on double heavyweight vinyl via the band's own label, Krúnk.
