I'm Just Like You: Sly's Stone Flower 1969-70 compiles the pioneering, minimal electro-funk Sly Stone created for his short-lived Stone Flower label — the missing link between Stand! and There's a Riot Goin' On. Gathering both sides of the label's five 45s plus ten previously unissued cuts, all newly remastered from the original tapes, it documents an obscure but monumental phase in Stone's career, capturing his early experiments with the Maestro Rhythm King drum machine.
