Part of Cooking Vinyl's 50th-anniversary celebration of The Alan Parsons Project, the prog-pop tour de force The Turn of a Friendly Card is reissued on limited-edition 180g clear vinyl. The 1980 concept album about gambling and gamblers was cut by Miles Showell at Abbey Road Studios at half speed using high-resolution archive transfers of Eric Woolfson's mint-condition duplicate masters from the original sessions. Pressed at Optimal and housed in polylined inner sleeves with a printed insert.
