Originally released in 1970, Morrison Hotel found The Doors returning to a raw, blues-rooted hard rock sound, opening with the powerhouse "Roadhouse Blues" and rolling through "Peace Frog," "Land Ho!" and "Maggie M'Gill." Part of Analogue Productions' acclaimed Doors reissue series, this Hybrid Multichannel SACD presents surround mixes Bruce Botnick created from the original one-inch, eight-track analog master tapes, up-sampled to DSD and authored at the Super Audio Center. It plays in both CD and SACD players.
