The second installment in The Grateful Dead's From The Vault trilogy, recorded live at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles in 1968 and freshly remastered in 2014 by Joe Gastwirt. Unlike the soundboard-sourced Dick's Picks series, the From The Vault releases were professionally multi-track recorded and mixed down for release. This worldwide vinyl debut captures the six-piece lineup of Pigpen, Garcia, Weir, Lesh, Kreutzmann, and Hart at their most improvisational — nine dynamic songs across eight sides, still rooted in the blues-rock of the 'Pigpen' years.
