180 Gram Black Vinyl, Half-Speed Mastering, UK Import
Released in March 1993, Suede's self-titled debut (issued in the U.S. as The London Suede) was a critical and commercial triumph, winning the Mercury Music Prize for Album of the Year and topping the UK Album Chart. Featuring the classic singles "The Drowners," "Animal Nitrate," "So Young" and "Metal Mickey," it sold 100,000 copies in its first week, the fastest-selling debut album in the UK at the time. This 30th-anniversary edition was newly mastered by Phil Kinrade at AIR from the original half-inch tapes and production masters, overseen and approved by producer Ed Buller.
