Adam Green and Kimya Dawson first crossed paths at an open-mic night in Mount Kisco, New York in the early '90s, going on to record a wealth of home recordings as The Moldy Peaches and become staples of the late-'90s NYC anti-folk scene. Origin Story: 1994-1999 collects songs, unreleased demos, live tracks and poems from those early years, with liner notes by Adam and Kimya detailing the stories behind each track.
