The Thorens Stabilizer is a beautifully machined record weight in polished chrome, built around eight individual weights arranged in the classic Thorens pattern. Set it on the spindle and its 300 grams press the record evenly against the platter — flattening light warps, improving the record-to-platter coupling, and draining away vibration before the stylus ever sees it. The result is more confident tracking, a quieter background, and firmer bass.

It works on any turntable with a standard spindle, looks right at home on a vintage TD 124 or a brand-new TD 1601, and arrives in a fitted wooden presentation box that makes it as satisfying to give as it is to use.
