Originally released in 1967, the Valley of the Dolls soundtrack won an Academy Award for Best Music (Scoring of Music – Adaptation or Treatment). Composed and conducted by John Williams with songs by André and Dory Previn, it accompanies the drama based on Jacqueline Susann's 1966 novel starring Barbara Parkins, Patty Duke, Sharon Tate, and Susan Hayward. This limited reissue was pressed to coincide with the film's 50th anniversary.
